Hudson Valley communities receive FEMA funds for firefighters responding to COVID-19

WASHINGTON – Four Hudson Valley communities will receive FEMA funding to support COVID-19 emergency response preparedness measures.

The money will be used for fire department purchases of PPE and essential support needed to keep residents safe during the pandemic.

The Village of Spring Valley will receive $3,617. The Village of Woodbury will receive $2,308. The Town of Greenburgh will receive $9,542, and the Village of Larchmont will receive $20,998.

The grants were announced by Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand.
