YONKERS – A 24-year-old Yonkers man was shot to death in a hallway at 54 Fairview Street in the city after 10 p.m. Sunday.
Police said a suspect approached Joseph Pichardo firing several shots hitting him several times. He later died at a hospital.
Investigators believe the victim was targeted and that the incident was not a random event.
