Police: Man and woman stabbed, lying on neighbor’s lawn

NEW CITY – Clarkstown Police said Friday that the man and woman stabbed in the vicinity of 22 Zabella Drive in New City around 9 p.m. Thursday, were found lying outside on the lawn of a neighboring house.

Police believe the incident was isolated and there is no danger to the public.

Both victims were bleeding from neck wounds.

Officers administered life-saving medical aid until Nanuet Ambulance and Rockland Paramedics arrived. The victims were then transported to Montefiore Nyack Hospital.

Their identities were withheld pending notification of relatives.

Clarkstown detectives are continuing their investigation into the assault and ask anyone with information or video pertaining to it to contact them at 845-639-5840.
