Reports reveal G-Herbo caught with marijuana in Mexico and the rapper is not happy despite narrowly escaping jail time. It’s not uncommon for celebrities to get caught breaking the law and that’s what happened to G-Herbo.
He had barely been in the country before he got into hot water with the Mexican police. The 24-year-old was busted with weed and this was apparently a golden opportunity for officials to make some money.
The rapper took to his Twitter account to share his experience with his fans – his trip to Mexico became $5 000 more expensive.
In the video that G-Herbo uploaded, he complained that Mexican police finessed him out of $2 000 after finding his stash.
It was also revealed that his security team also paid $2 000 to avoid the lot of them spending their trip behind bars.
Reports indicate that G-Herbo coughed up another $1 000, but it’s not clear what this money was for.
All in all, the rapper paid $5 000 so he could spend his visit as a free man, along with his crew.
Although he should be glad he didn’t have to go to jail, G-Herbo was very upset that he lost all that money and his weed.
In the video, he can be heard saying he is mad and stressed out and that he will be getting very drunk now. He said that it all happened as soon as he landed in Mexico, just 10 minutes into his trip.
However, it seems he wasn’t completely empty-handed because he had another weed pen.
After this, it may be better for the Chicago rapper to travel Los Angeles, Boston, or do a voyeurage through Atlanta via Hip-Hop videos on YouTube.
Weed may be legal in some American states, but it’s not smart to try and take the drug into other countries. No matter how famous you are.
