Countywide health emergency management exercise to be held in Ulster

KINGSTON – In the wake of the first case of coronavirus in New York State, a health emergency management exercise will be held at the Ulster County Emergency Operations Center.

The session today, will bring together officials to practice and refine the county’s action plan for the virus.

Following protocol and pursuant to State Department of Health and CDC guidelines, persons returning from certain areas where they may have been exposed to the virus are asked to voluntarily isolate themselves for 14 days. All residents returning from those areas have agreed to the quarantine as well as monitoring by the health department.
