LIBERTY – The Resnick family will hold the grand opening and ribbon-cutting for their latest business, Liberty Market, on March 6 at 11:00 AM. The ribbon-cutting will be the start of a weekend-long grand opening celebration at the 261 North Main Street location.

The celebration will include product vendors, entertainment, and giveaways on Saturday, March 7 and special grand opening pricing on products throughout the store through Sunday.

“We did full interior and exterior renovations in record time in order to ensure the community didn’t go without a place to buy groceries within walking distance in the Village of Liberty. That’s what we do, we improve communities by investing in dilapidated businesses and creating new jobs and therefore new economic development,” said Managing Owner Randy Resnick. The store will be managed by Herb Gayles.

Liberty Market will continue to provide exotic and ethnic products as well as new vegan and gluten-free products. The store also has Chef Randy inspired hot prepared meals to take home as well as fully prepared cold meals for take-out.

Liberty Market offers a 5% discount to senior citizens, Veterans/Active Duty Service Members, Emergency Service Personnel, all Sullivan County School District employees, and Resnick Energy Automatic Delivery Customers. Those eligible for the discount will need to show a valid ID and sign up for the Rewards Club Card in the store.
