SAUGERTIES – An Acra man has been arrested by Saugerties Police and charged with felony and misdemeanor drug possession and DWI.
On Saturday, January 11 at 5:37 in the morning, police arrested Dillon Gilbert, 28, after he was seen running a red traffic light on Route 32.
He was later found in possession of two plastic bags, one containing psychedelic mushrooms and the other, a quantity of marijuana.
The DWI charge was levied after it was determined he had a blood alcohol content of .12 percent, above the state legal limit of .08 percent.
He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Saugerties Justice Court.
