Men indicted in New Windsor murder

GOSHEN – An Orange County grand jury has indicted two men on first-degree murder charges in connection with the September shooting death of a young woman in a New Windsor apartment.

Chelsea Debidin, 21, of Walden, was visiting with her boyfriend in a Knox Village apartment when the men burst in and shot her to death. He was wounded in the incident.

Cornelius Stubbs, 48, and Carlos Rivera, 47, both of Newburgh, were each charged with two counts of murder, assault, burglary, and possession of a gun.

Stubbs also faces charges in connection with domestic violence and stalking case.

Both men are being held in the Orange County Jail without bail.
