VILLAGE OF FLORIDA – This year’s Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan will be coming from the Village of Florida.

The Norway Spruce will be cut town on Thursday, November 7 and arrive at Rockefeller Center on Saturday, November 9.

After being wrapped with more than 50,000 multi-colored LED lights and crowned with a Swarovski star, the tree will be lit during a live TV broadcast on Wednesday, December 4.

The tree will be on display until Friday, January 17, 2020.

In past years, the Rockefeller tree has come from the Town of Newburgh and Gardiner. On more than one occasion, the tree was later milled with the wood being used in Newburgh Habitat for Humanity homes.
