NEWBURGH – Police in the City of Newburgh are investigating a shooting that occurred around 8 p.m. Tuesday at the corner of Farrington and North Miller Streets.
Police at the scene would only say there was a shooting, but said little else. The victim was reportedly taken to Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital for treatment.
The intersection was blocked off with crime scene tape as the investigation continued.
There was no immediate word on the condition of the victim, if a suspect has been located or if a motive has been established.
