MIDDLETOWN – Orange County Community College (SUNY Orange) is developing courses and curricula to meet the growing workforce demands of the region.
College President Dr. Kristine Young said new offerings will be tailored to the types of jobs that are emerging in the region.
“This year I think you will see a lot of opportunities at the college in the entertainment, craft beverage, craft food, hospitality sector as we respond to entities like Legoland coming into the area, and other related industries,” Young said. “Healthcare is always strong in Orange County and the region so we will also be expanding our shorter term healthcare offerings.”
SUNY Orange has full campuses in Middletown and Newburgh and a limited satellite program in Port Jervis.
