POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police in Poughkeepsie have arrested a suspect in connection with a Sten Mark II submachine gun seized in a warrant search at 13 Duane Street on July 10.
Two loaded magazines and ammunition were also seized at the time.
A joint investigation between the Poughkeepsie City Neighborhood Recovery Unit, the US Marshals Service and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives led to the arrest on Wednesday of Yves Vinson, 23, on a felony charge of criminal possession of a weapon.
He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash or $60,000 bond.
