PLEASANT VALLEY – The postmaster of the Salt Point Post Office has been arrested and charged with the felony of unlawful surveillance.
State Police allege Robert Simone, 57, of Poughkeepsie installed an electronic recording device in the employee bathroom of the post office on Cottage Street in the Town of Pleasant Valley.
He was arrested on July 15 and to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
