MONTICELLO – Monticello Police arrested Jeremiah Fannings, 22, of Fallsburg, and charged him with felony criminal possession of a weapon and misdemeanor criminal possession of a marijuana.
The arrest happened about midnight Friday morning as a Monticello police officer was conducting a patrol of the Monticello Housing Authority apartment complex on Evergreen Drive. Several people were involved in a dispute. One of them, Fannings, ran off but was later caught.
Fannings was sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
