Arrest made in New Rochelle bar shooting

NEW ROCHELLE – Police arrested a New Rochelle man in the shooting outside Chuggers Bar at 234 North Avenue in that city in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 15.
Jeffrey Stover, 48, was arrested at his residence on Thursday. The handgun believed to have been used in the shoot was recovered. It had been stolen in a burglary in North Carolina.
Stover was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of stolen property. He was turned over to the FBI.
A second individual, Gerren Blakey, 42, of New Rochelle, who interfered with the arrest of Stover, was arrested and charged with obstructing governmental administration.
