Two charged with felony drug possession

NYACK – Two Rockland County residents were arrested this past Saturday
after one of them walked into Nyack Hospital suffering from a stab wound.

Carl Mason, 29, of Sparkill was accompanied by a friend, Denise Christensen,
53, of Pearl River, who drove her car to the hospital. That vehicle contained
felony weight cocaine.

As a result, Christensen was arrested and charged with three counts of
criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was remanded to the
Rockland County Jail in lieu of $2,000.

Mason was charged with two counts of drug possession and remained in Nyack
Hospital in protective custody.
