Traffic violation leads to charge of failure to pay child support

KINGSTON – A West Shokan man was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies on a warrant issued by Ulster County Family Court.
Woodstock Town Police pulled over Richard Burgher, 37, early in the morning of November 22 for a traffic violation and it was determined he was wanted by family court for failure to pay child support.
Deputies took him into custody. He was released after posting of bail.
