Kingston seeking new director of communications and community engagement

KINGSTON – Mayor Steven
Noble is seeking applicants for the position of director of communications
and community engagement in Kingston following the announced resignation
of current director Megan Weiss-Rowe. She said she is leaving by the end
of the year “to pursue other opportunities.”
“It is certainly bittersweet to be leaving this position, especially at a time when so many exciting things are happening in the City of Kingston,” she said in a written statement.
Noble said Weiss-Rowe “has worked tirelessly to implement our shared vision for an inclusive and accessible local government that communicates effectively with its constituents, while also helping to bring new initiatives to fruition.”
The post is a full-time job that has responsibility for planning and implementing programs with a purpose of providing public information to the community and staff.
The job pays $44,000 plus benefits.
