DEC re-opens Vernooy Kill State Forest

WAWARSING – The State Department of Environmental Conservation has re-opened
the Vernooy Kill State Forest to visitors effective immediately.
It was closed last Friday following the Ellenville shooting incident
involving suspect Joshua Stuart.
The forest has again been re-opened to visitors including hikers and
other outdoor enthusiasts.
