Ulster Park man charged with trying to pass counterfeit bill

KINGSTON – An Ulster Park man is in the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond on a felony charge of criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Raduu Cameron, 37, was arrested by sheriff’s deputies after they were called to a gas station on Broadway in the Town of Esopus for a dispute between a customer and an employee.
Investigation revealed that Cameron was in possession of a counterfeit $100 bill that he tried to pass as currency to pay for merchandise.
The investigation is continuing and additional charges may be filed.
