KINGSTON – Beginning next Monday, Central Hudson will be conducting a gas distribution improvement project in the Washington Avenue of the City of Kingston.
The work will include gas main replacements as well as replacement of 150 service lines to residences in the area.
Associated road work is expected to be conducted in phases through November. In some areas, traffic will be allowed in both directions with flaggers. In other phases of the project in which the road must be closed during the day, detours will be in place.
The first phase of the project will begin along the Boulevard. Traffic will remain open in both directions with flaggers provided.
