Fire damages Dover building

Dozens of firefighters from several departments fought the blaze

TOWN OF DOVER – A three-alarm fire caused considerable damage to
a three-story building at 3181 Route 22 in Dover on Friday.

Fire departments from Dutchess and Putnam counties as well as from neighboring
Connecticut were called in to quell the flames in the mixed use structure
that housed a restaurant and apartment.

All of the residents were evacuated safely, but one firefighter sustained
a minor injury.
