BLOOMING GROVE – The body of a 13-year-old Washingtonville youth
has been found, Blooming Grove Town Police said Sunday. Details are expected
to be released by investigators.
Timothy Davis was reported missing on Friday, August 10. He had last been
seen wearing a white t-shirt, red shorts and flip flops.
Davis was an incoming ninth grade student in the Washingtonville school
district and in a message to the community, Superintendent of Schools
Roy Reese wrote they have a crisis intervention team in place “to
help with the needs of students, parents and school personnel at difficult
times such as this.”
Due to construction in the district, the crisis center is located at Taft
Elementary School from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today (Monday). The district social
worker, Paul Saladino, is also available by phone at 845-497-4000, ext.

“We are saddened by the loss to our school community and will make
every effort to help you and your child,” Reese wrote.
