Jumper parachutes off Mid-Hudson Bridge – Update!

POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police
in Poughkeepsie are trying to find out who jumped off the Mid-Hudson Bridge
with a parachute Saturday evening.
The unknown person landed in Kaal Rock Park, got into a white van and
drove away.

Police were alerted to the incident by an 8:39 p.m. 911 call of a person
who had jumped.
The city fire department launched its rescue boat, but found nothing.
Boaters in the area of the bridge told authorities of the parachutist
jumping off the bridge that spans the Hudson River between Poughkeepsie
and Highland.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call them at
845-451-7577.
