Tetris, now in kinder hands

STOCKPORT – Two Stockport residents have been arrested and charged with animal cruelty under state Agriculture and Market Law for failing to provide proper sustenance.
Daniel Wood, 30, and Leslie Simpson, 36, are charged with failing to provide sufficient food and drink for their dog, Tetris, a three-year-old pit bull mix.
Tetris was seized by Stockport Police when they found him very thin and without food or water. The dog was brought to the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA where he was examined by a veterinarian and diagnosed with severe emaciation.
Had Stockport town officials not intervened quickly, “Tetris would certainly have perished with the heatwave that has moved into this area,” said Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA President Ron Perez.
