Seized arsenal
HILLBURN – Three New Jersey men were arrested on Sunday afternoon after police were called to a report of people shooting firearms near Creelman Road in the Village of Hillburn.
Ramapo Police responded just before 3 p.m. and arrested the men, ages
22, 23 and 26, on charges of illegal possession of handguns and rifles
in violation of the state SAFE Act.
The men, whose named police did not release, were also charged with discharging firearms in the town.
In their possession police seized seven handguns, six rifles, several high capacity magazines, ammunition, marijuana and various firearm equipment.
