UBER driver accused of inappropriate contact

RYE – A Bronx man, working as an UBER driver, was arrested on July 3 for allegedly attempting to force himself on a passenger.  Iqbal Hussain, 27, was arrested by the Rye Brook Detective Bureau for assault and attempted forcible touching, both misdemeanors.
Police say Hussain attempted to subject a passenger in his vehicle to sexual contact. While trying to defend herself, the victim  suffered a physical injury.
Hussain was released on $500 cash bail pending an appearance in Rye Town Court.
