TOWN OF TUXEDO – A motorcyclist
was killed in a collision with a car on Route 17 in the Town of Tuxedo
Tuesday afternoon.
Tuxedo Town Police Officer Girard Shiloh said the victim was a 20-year-old
Orange County man. His name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
The motorcycle was traveling northbound on Route 17 at about 3:45 p.m.
as the car was going southbound on Route 17 and turned left onto Arden
Valley Road, resulting in the crash, which the officer termed accidental.
The victim was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was a teenager from New Jersey.
State Police assisted Tuxedo Town Police in the investigation.
