Four residents displaced by Arlington house fire

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE – A mid-afternoon fire on Friday damaged a house at 7 Donna Drive in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
Three occupants were inside and escaped uninjured. The Red Cross assisted.
The two-alarm fire was brought under control within 15 minutes. No firefighters were hurt.
The cause was determined to be accidental, electrical in nature, and remains under investigation, said Fire Chief Tory Gallante.
Assisting at the scene were the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department, Mobile Life Support Services, Town of Poughkeepsie Police and Building Department, Dutchess County Department of Emergency Response, and Central Hudson Gas and Electric. New Hackensack and Pleasant Valley fire departments were on standby.
