ALBANY – The Town of Colchester
has been granted a $100,000 grant to assist in the purchase of a new plow
truck for its highway department. The truck will replace a current truck
that is 12 years old and will help the highway department maintain the
over 110 miles of roads in the town.
The Town of Tuxedo gets $50,000 for the renovation of community space at Town Hall. That project includes the upgrade of Town Hall to accommodate community groups that currently use the facility as a community center. The work will consist of upgrading the bathrooms, pain, storage, flooring, finishes and seating areas.
