KINGSTON – A Liberty man faces up to seven years in state prison when sentenced in July on a charge of felony criminal sexual act for engaging in oral sex with a 12-year-old.
Ulster County District Attorney Holley Carnright said Leoneudi Agueda, 23, engaged in the sex act with the child in a parking lot off Route 52 in the Town of Wawarsing. Agueda also faces misdemeanor charges in Sullivan County. He was also charged by the Ulster County DA’s Office with two counts of bribing a witness for offering money to two witnesses in exchange for their altered testimony in the case. He was released on bond when the briberies occurred.
In addition to prison time, Agueda faces up to 10 years of post-release supervision and will be required to register as a sex offender for a minimum of 20 years.
