MONTICELLO – Village Police
in Monticello have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting
death of a man whose body was found outside the Monticello Meadows apartment
complex on Shaker Heights Drive early Sunday morning.
The victim, a 19-year-old Brooklyn man, had been shot twice in the head
at around 3:30 a.m.
The investigation is continuing by police in Monticello and Fallsburg,
the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office and the Sullivan County District
Attorney’s Office, but police said there does not appear to be any
danger to the public.
