HIGHLAND – A Highland man was arrested on Sunday by Lloyd Town Police on charges that he had sex with a 15-year-old girl over the course of several months.
Christopher Sylvester, 39, was charged as a result with the felonies of rape and criminal sexual act, as well as forcible touching, sexual misconduct, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Sylvester was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
