Tarrytown shooter indicted for murder

WHITE PLAINS – A Westchester County grand jury indicted a man with no known address on a charge of murder in connection with the shooting death of a Tarrytown woman in her home on Tuesday, February 27.
Cynell Brown, 28, was charged with murder, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana and two counts of tampering with physical evidence in the death of Jessica Wiltse, 34, of Tarrytown.
She was rushed to the hospital where she died.
Brown was caught at the Port authority bus Terminal in Manhattan that same evening. During the investigation, a firearm was recovered.
If convicted, Brown faces life in prison.
