TOWN OF WALLKILL – Police are investigating a shooting that occurred
just before 3:30 Sunday morning at JD’s Sports Bar on Route 211
in the Town of Wallkill.
Initial reports indicate a man was shot several times and was taken to
Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill for treatment. His condition
was not immediately known.
Yellow crime scene police tape was stretched in a large area of the parking
area in front of the bar.
It was also unknown if the incident occurred inside the bar or in the
parking lot; however, Wallkill Town and State Police were scouring the
area outside the bar for a period of time.
