TOWN OF MONROE – A traffic stop on Route 17 in the Town of Monroe early Monday morning resulted in the arrests of two Pennsylvania men on drug charges.
Police found 510 bags of heroin in their car after they were pulled over for equipment violations.
Jeremy Maun, 33, of Matamoras, and Christopher Scurto, 25, of Greeley, were charged with two counts of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Maun was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $150,000 bond. Scurto, who is on probation in Pennsylvania, is held without bail.
