WHITE PLAINS – A New Rochelle
man, who is a special education teacher at Lewis and Clark High School
in the Bronx, has been arraigned in New Rochelle City Court on child pornography
charges.

Tyler Davidson, 37, was charged with one count each of promoting an obscene
sexual performance by a child and possessing an obscene sexual performance
of a child.

Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino, Jr. said in October
2017, an email service provider detected suspicious activity relating
to Davidson’s account.

After the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force referred information
to the High Technology Crime Bureau of the DA’s office, investigators
executed a search warrant last Friday at Davidson’s residence and
seized his computers. A preliminary forensic review of the computers revealed
several pornographic images of girls under the age of 10.

If convicted, Davidson faces seven years in state prison.
