MID-HUDSON – It is snowing or raining heavily depending upon where
you are in the Mid-Hudson/Catskills area.
Due to high winds, all high profile vehicles have been banned from the
Governor Mario Cuomo Bridge at Tappan Zee. That includes tractor-trailers,
buses and motorcycles.

Several accidents have been reported with vehicle skidding off roads.
There are also several reports of utility wires and trees down.

All of the power companies are reporting outages in various parts of their
territories. Orange and Rockland, Central Hudson and NYSEG crews are out
all across the region making repairs. Call your local utility company
if you have an outage.

Snowy conditions are more prevalent at this time in higher elevations
with heavy rain in low lying areas causing some flooding conditions on
the roads.

Many local government offices are closed along with school districts and
man businesses.
