MIDDLETOWN – The Accelerator, a branch of the Orange County Industrial Development Agency, will open a new facility on the campus of Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown.
IDA Chief Operating Officer Laurie Villasuso said it will provide space for 13 health-related businesses.
“It is medical device, medical-related, software programming and personal care products,” she said.
Villasuso said the companies are generally young and in a growth mode. “We work with companies that are generally one or two people, but are looking to how best to grow their company and to refine their processes and move on to bigger and better things and hire more people,” she said.
The Accelerator has two facilities in New Windsor adjacent to Stewart Airport.
