Warwick man charged with trying to break into home

TOWN OF WARWICK – A Warwick man was arrested on Thursday evening, February 1 on a charge of attempted burglary after he was spotting running away from the residence on Ridgefield Road in the Village of Warwick.
Police were called to the location at 5:20 p.m. for a report of a man trying to pry a rear window open. He took off into a wooded area when police arrived. Officers searched with the aid of a K-9 and a short time later, Max Lennon, 27, was seen walking out of the woods onto Laudaten Way. He was identified by officers initially responding to the scene.
At police headquarters, he admitted to detectives that he attempted to break into the home and was charged with felony attempted burglary.
Lennon was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
