POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Drug Task Force arrested a Poughkeepsie man following a warrant search at his residence at 78 North Clinton Street in the city.
Edward Grant, 57, was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance after police located a quantity of crack cocaine, cash, scales and packaging materials. Grant was sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail. Authorities said additional charges may be pending.
The task force and Poughkeepsie Police Emergency Services Unit executed the search warrant on Friday, January 19 following an investigation into narcotics sales at and around Grant’s residence.
