PEEKSKILL – A man and woman were arrested following a robbery on Main Street in Peekskill on Monday night.
Police were called to the 900 block of Main Street and found a man who had been attacked and robbed. The victim said he had been accosted by a woman who threatened him with a razor while a man pinned him against a wall and stole his wallet.
Within minutes, police located two people matching the descriptions of the robbers two blocks away. The woman was found in possession of a razor knife, identified by the victim and arrested. The man took off but was found a short time later in possession of money believed to have been stolen from the victim. The wallet was located nearby.
Saraya Bailey, 40, of Peekskill and Derrick Dickey, who is homeless, were both charged with armed robbery.
