Woman charged with stealing thousand in jewelry from relative

NEW WINDSOR – A Poughkeepsie woman was arrested on Thursday and
charged with felony grand larceny for allegedly stealing $6,500 worth
of jewelry from a relative’s house where she had stayed for a few
days.

New Windsor Town Police arrested Sarah Wayering, 34, in connection with
the theft.

She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance pending a future
court appearance.
