WARWICK – The Village of Warwick has been awarded a $50,000 state grant for a new parking lot at Veterans’ Memorial Park.
The area will provide parking spaces for the nearby baseball fields, concession stand and football practice areas as well as for patrons of festivals held at the park. The parking area will be paved making it easier for pedestrians to maneuver on rather than the existing gravel and grass surface.
Senator John Bonacic (R, Mt. Hope) secured the funding through the State and Municipal Facilities Program.
