Two high school age girls fight, one sustains life threatening stab wound

NEW ROCHELLE – Police
in New Rochelle are investigating a stabbing in which one high school
age girl is believed to have stabbed another high school girl.

The incident at 12:21 p.m. today (Wednesday), occurred at the Dunkin Donuts
shop at 646 North Avenue. A store employee told officers that a dispute
occurred between the two girls five minutes before they arrived and one
of the girls appeared to have been stabbed and the other fled.
The victim was transported to Jacobi Hospital with injuries that police
said are life threatening.
