TOWN OF NEWBURGH – Police say the man killed when his vehicle slammed into the rear of a garbage truck on Route 32 in the Town of Newburgh last Saturday was Wilbur Grant, 57, of the hamlet of Wallkill. The driver of the truck, Robert Miller, 49, of Middletown, was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
On Saturday, police said around 11 a.m., Grant’s vehicle crashed into the rear of the truck on Route 32 near the intersection of Paffendorf Drive in Cronomer Valley.
