KINGSTON – City Police in Kingston have arrested an 18-year-old Kingston man on a charge of criminal possession of a weapon after he was found to have a 9-mm handgun on him.
The man, who police did not identify, was arrested on Wednesday, January 3 following an investigation into a December 11, 2017 incident in which shots were fired near Cedar and Prospect streets.
At that time, uniformed patrol officers and detectives collected evidence at the scene and several other locations.
The man was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
