NEWBURGH – Firefighters in the City of Newburgh made quick work of a truck fire on Saturday afternoon.
The dump truck was parked at the building at 186 South Robinson Avenue three hours earlier, unattended and not running. Acting Chief Terry Ahlers said the fire was not suspicious and appears to have started due to a mechanical malfunction.
There was minimal damage to the building, which the chief expected to reopen for business on Tuesday.
