KINGSTON – A state prisoner housed in the Ulster County Jail prior to his incarceration in a state facility was indicted by an Ulster County grand jury for throwing a liquid at county corrections officer.
Dayshawn Allen, also known as “Stacks”, 23, called a corrections
officer over to his cell on April 21 and when he approached, he tossed
the liquid at him.
Forensic testing of his clothing revealed it contained urine.
Allen was subsequently indicted by a grand jury for aggravated harassment of an employee by an inmate, as a felony. Allen was arraigned in Ulster County Court and returned to the custody of the state prison system.
