Poughkeepsie Police seek identity of two robbery suspects

POUGHKEEPSIE – Police in the City of Poughkeepsie are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men believed to have been involved in recent store robberies.
On November 11, the store at Mansion and Winnikee was robbed by a man armed with a handgun.  He entered the store, pulled the gun and struck the clerk in the head with the weapon before stealing the contents of the cash register.
The man was described as a tall, thin black man, with a hoodie tied over his face, a blue bubble coat, dark gray pants and a blue brimmed hat.
On November 30, the store at Pershing Avenue and Mansion Street was robbed by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun.  The men forced the store owner to the floor while holding a gun to his head and one of the men shouting, shoot him, shoot him.”  The merchant screamed and the men grabbed the money from behind the counter and fled south on Pershing Avenue.
The man with the gun was described as a tall, thin black man with a black coat. The other bandit was described as a tall, thin black man with a blue bubble coat and a dark colored hoodie underneath.
